So happy to see him again! He came from Chicago to join our cooking class three times. This time it was a private lesson customized to his needs. We had a great time sharing Japanese cooking techniques and ideas. Thank you so much, can’t wait for the next opportunity!

Oyakodon is a Japanese home meal with chicken and egg on rice. You can cook with just one pan and simple ingredients.
親子丼はご飯の上に鶏肉や卵を乗せる日本の家庭料理です。簡単な材料と、たった1つのお鍋で調理することができます。

Before the class starts, you need to prepare the ingredients and kitchen utensils. Below are the main ingredients and utensils. For details, see the “Preparation list”.
クラスがスタートする前に、食材や調理道具を準備していただく必要があります。以下は主な食材や道具です。詳細は「準備リスト」をご覧ください。

Main ingredients: chicken thigh, onion, egg, cooked rice, sugar, soy sauce
Main utensils: cutting board, kitchen knife, pan, stove, measuring cup, tablespoon, teaspoon
主な食材：鶏もも肉、玉ねぎ、卵、ご飯、砂糖、醤油
主な道具：まな板、包丁、鍋、コンロ、計量カップ、大さじ、小さじ

1. Cut ingredients　食材をカットする
